SeerPharma UK recently completed the first phase of a project for a global specialist in temperature-controlled distribution for life sciences. We worked closely with key company personnel across the UK and beyond. We provided the technical expertise to support the company in developing a Validation Master Plan (VMP) and detailed User Requirement Specifications (URS) for the wide range of equipment required in this dynamic and temperature-critical sector of the pharmaceutical industry.

Of most interest was the use of risk-based approach to determine the critical control points within the process and the application of Continued Process Verification (CPV) to demonstrate the continuation of the validated state.

The second phase will roll this out across the business, providing a standardised approach across the globe. The collaborative approach employed will enable the company to develop knowledge and experience whilst also benefitting from external oversight as the project progresses to completion.
